Thursday Morning Randomness: 50 Randoms For a Happy Leap Day

Happy leap year! This is a day that only comes around once every four years, so you should celebrate it by doing exactly what you do every other day: scrolling through a collection of some fun pics, memes, and tweets

While you might be having a fantastic leap year Thursday, unfortunately, plenty of people in the state of Texas are not. Wildfires around the state's panhandle have been raging for the entire week, and Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued a disaster declaration for 60 counties. One of the fires, named the "Smokehouse Creek Fire," is considered the second largest in the history of the Lone Star State. Having already crossed the 850,000-acre mark at the time of writing with 3% containment, it will almost certainly hold the top spot by the time you read this. The fires have produced some truly shocking footage, and one photo of the decimation from the window of a plane is featured in this gallery. Hopefully, everyone is staying safe, and authorities can get the blazes under control before even more cities are burned, and lives are lost.
